How to train rally obedience with Tävlingshund

Rally obedience is a fun dog sport that is easy to get started with and suits many dogs. With Tävlingshund, you can train rally obedience, view the signs, and log your sessions in the app.

When you want to start a new session in the app, you select the ‘new’ tab on the home screen. Then, go to train and you will see the main view to create an entry in the training diary. If ‘rally obedience’ is not displayed at the top in the center of the screen, you can click there to change the training type to this.

With the session set to rally obedience, several features related to that training type will appear. Among them are generating courses, organizing, and starting sessions.

Generate course

Generate course is a good starting point if you want the app to create a new session for you. There, you can choose which classes you want to include signs from, as well as how many signs you want in the session. Once selected, a session is created for you with the signs in a random order.

Sort

With arrange, you can adjust the order of the signs. It’s easy to drag and drop the signs into the order you want.

Start a workout

When the session contains some signs and you’re happy with the order, you can start a session. By tapping the start session button, a view opens where you can choose how many seconds each sign should be displayed. Once selected, you can click start for the app to play through the course — each sign will be shown for the number of seconds you chose before the next sign automatically appears.

When the session is complete, you can rate each exercise based on how well you think it went, and then simply save the session!

To access the rally obedience features in the app, you need to activate Premium — you can easily do that directly in the app.
